My-view of Sailormoon

The Sailormoon phenomena is triggered by Naoko Takeuchi, the artist and creator of the Sailormoon manga. To those unfamiliar with the term, 'manga' refers to made-in-Japan comic. However, i believe, the term manga is constantly maintained worldwide due to its nature that is definitely not the same as testosterone crazed, bulging muscularish and tanned superhero; portrayed as trademark in American comic. Manga portrays male character with femininely curved face, long legged female, patented with big and shining eyes.

The gloriously accepted Sailormoon manga is then adapted into TV animation by Toei Animation of Japan, maintaining Naoko's original characters and storyline.

Just to provide you readers with an overview of Sailormoon. It is a story about a crybaby, Usagi Tsukino, who is actually the future Queen of the Silver Moon. She is awakened as Sailormoon after meeting a moon-marked cat named 'Luna' (and yes, unsurprisingly, the cat can talk). The story then continues when each of her soldier, known as 'senshi' is revealed one by one. The first awakened is Ami Mizuno, as Sailor Mercury, followed by Rei Hino as Sailor Mars, Makoto Kino as Sailor Jupiter and lastly Minako Aino as Sailor Venus.

As the story goes Usagi is revealed to her future, life, husband- Prince Endimion who exists in this current life as Mamoru Chiba; and also her daughter, the small Usagi, also known as Chibi Usagi (or in short Chibiusa, and some fans calls her Chibiyam, for obvious reason, duh!). She then understands that there are four other 'senshi' guarding the outside of Silver Moon, protecting it from any external attack. The four additional 'Senshi' are Sailor Uranus (Haruka Tenoh), Sailor Neptune (Michiru Kaioh), Sailor Saturn (Hotaru Tomoe) and Sailor Pluto (Setsuna Meioh).

And overall the story (as any other stories of heroic manner), the good prevails, end of story, bye bye.

Still, I am so 'gila-krazy' over sailormoon. Why? Read on...
